1. Sitaare Zameen Par

Aamir Khan’s next release will be Sitaare Zameen Par, coming to theatres worldwide on June 20, 2025. This is a heart-touching sports drama, inspired by the Spanish movie Campeones. Aamir plays the role of a coach who is funny and a bit full of himself, which will bring both emotion and laughter to the story.

2. Comedy Film with Sidharth Malhotra (In Talks)

After Sitaare Zameen Par, Aamir is expected to hear the script of a comedy film directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, who made Dream Girl. The film stars Sidharth Malhotra, and the makers believe Aamir will fit perfectly into a funny role. Aamir will listen to the story after June 20, and if he agrees, shooting could begin by September 2025.

3. Cameo in Lahore 1947

Aamir Khan is also doing some special cameo roles. In Lahore 1947, directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and starring Sunny Deol, Aamir shot for about 12 days. His role is short but important for the film’s narrative.

4. Cameo in Coolie

Another cameo is in superstar Rajinikanth’s upcoming film Coolie. The movie also features Nagarjuna and Upendra, and Upendra recently revealed that he shared screen space with Aamir Khan. Fans are already thrilled to see Aamir in a film with such legendary actors.

5. Talks with Telugu Director Vamshi Paidipally

Aamir is also in discussions with director Vamshi Paidipally, who made Varisu starring Vijay. If the talks work out, the movie will be produced under Dil Raju’s Sri Venkateswara Creations. This project is still in the planning stage but has already raised excitement among fans who want to see a Bollywood–Tollywood combination.

6. Dadasaheb Phalke Biopic with Rajkumar Hirani

In a surprise update, Aamir confirmed that he will be working again with Rajkumar Hirani for a biopic on Dadasaheb Phalke, the father of Indian cinema. The script has been in development for nearly four years. Aamir will start preparing for the role right after Sitaare Zameen Par is released. The film will be made on a grand scale with international VFX teams creating visuals of that historic time period.
